Idea Machine

Nicando Cruz is operating the "Idea Machine",rebar stirrups are
placed in between two electrodes and a wire is fused to the rebar
The Stirrups are then cut to sections,these cages are
for ease of placement for the field ironworkers

Ruben and his brother Ramon set up to cut bars to size


They set the bar in a template




Ramon uses a torch to cut the bars to size

The brothers set the bar into the
machine where it is clamped down
The welder is then activated by
the controls on the right side

After the bar is clamped into the machine using
hydraulic clamps built into the machine ,a computer controlled
electric current is sent into the bar fusing it together

The Fusion process takes approximately 10-12 seconds to complete
